Introduction

Avengers 5 is official, and we not only have a title but also a launch date. At Marvel's Comic-Con panel, we learned that the fifth Avengers film will be called The Kang Dynasty and will most likely star Jonathan Majors, aka Kang. The film may not be released in the next few years, but that doesn't necessarily imply we can't speculate on what Avengers 5 could perhaps look like the prior period it does.

Following the official declaration of Avengers

The Kang Dynasty at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, Jonathan Majors, has responded to the logo. Majors first appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as He Who Remains, a Kang variant who guarded the Sacred Timeline in Loki's first season.

The actor will make his big debut as Marvel Comics villain Kang the Conqueror in next year's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. We still believe that the fifth film will be very different from the previous, as the MCU has relocated on to the original heroes.

Final season

Majors made his surprise MCU debut in the finale episode of Loki season 1 in the sixth episode of the Disney+ series, preparing the ground for future looks in the franchise. He Who Remains clarified before being killed by Sophia di Martino's Sylvie that he's only one variant of Kang the Conqueror, a villain for whom the approach would involve war with multiple versions of himself could lead to the complete collapse of reality itself.

He Who Remains revealed that he is still alive

He Who Remains revealed that the only thing keeping those events from happening was his continued existence. The Kang Dynasty is the official title of Avengers 5. The heroes are on a collision course with the time-traveling villain, and the man behind the main bad guy in the Universes Saga has shared his response to the recent announcement.

In phase 6

Kang will make his big debut in the Ant-Man sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, before Companies faces all of Earth's mightiest heroes in phase 6. Fans are getting their first look at the third Ant-Man film during a comic-con exclusive teaser, which featured going back heroes Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lily), new hero Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), MODOK, and Bill Murray's mysterious character.

The trailer also teased Lang's first encounter

The trailer also taunts Lang's first encounter with Major's Kang, in which after Scott informs the baddie that he is an Avenger, Kang chillingly responds, "Have I shot you dead before?"

With the official release of Avengers

The Kang Dynasty, it is clear that Majors' Kang will play an important role in the MCU's future. While fans will have to wait until 2025 to see newly announced Avengers 5 filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton rejoin Marvel's heroes, Majors' enthused reply shows how he can wait to take centre stage.

While Majors has already appeared in Loki

While Majors has already emerged in Loki, his portrayal of Kang has yet to be seen, leaving fans to wonder how the moment conqueror will differ from the erstwhile TVA head, as well as how Majors will reach his depiction of the next significant MCU threat.
