The '90 Day Fiance' Preview: Mohamed's mother grills him about trying to control Yve

As Mohamed wraps up the conversation with Hanan, he takes a moment to catch up with her. She asks Yve how it's going. She asks him if he feels comfortable in the United States since he arrived. Mohamed says Yve is always busy. In the following moments, Mohamed starts uttering words.

Mohamed says in this EXCLUSIVE preview of the July 24 episode of 90 Day Fiance that he has a very strong relationship with his mom. If I pretend everything is okay, she won't worry about me. My mother hasn't contacted me very much since I arrived here."

Mohammed notes that Yve and he have a cultural difference and asks his mom if Yve should wear Egyptian clothing. “Our traditions cannot be imposed on her by force and we cannot force her to follow them.” Mohamed's mother says.

It is important to adapt yourself to the new environment in which you are working. She will understand the satisfaction one by one if you allow her to do what she wants. Don't try to control her and avoid getting grumpy by nicely adjusting yourself."

Yve was described as a "kind woman" by Hanan, and she tells her son to "make sure you do not get yourself into trouble by voicing your opinions." Mohamed follows his mother's example, going into defense mode when it comes to his "happiness." He does not believe his mother is listening to him.

Having nearly reached the age of manhood, I will not be changing anything about myself. Although I like Yve as she is, I'm afraid if I don't accept Yve for who she is, she won't be happy with me in the long run.
