Spoilers for July 20 on 'B&B': Hope grills Deacon about how Sheila Carter makes her feel

Hope Logan Spencer, the leading lady on Today's B&B, is expected to confront her dad, Thomas Logan Spencer, about his former best friend, Sheila Carter on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
When it comes to Deacon Sharpe, it seems Ridge Forresterput a bug in Hope's ear because she doesn't quite believe what she says to herself about him.
It used to be that her dearest daddy, who was a headstrong man, didn't know anything about that menacing Sheila, but now she's not so sure anymore. So it's time to go talk to her pops at Il Giardino for a while.
The way Hope plays, she always has a smile on her face and is filled with all the compassion you could ever wish for. She offers Deacon a shoulder to lean on about Ridge regaining her mother and listens to him complain about the situation.
The fact that he is her father, after all, shouldn't prevent him from doing so. There is no doubt that every kid's dream is to have their parents together again one day. As soon as she has done that, she starts asking questions.
What is his knowledge of the location of Sheila? Have you been able to get in touch with her? How long has it been since he last saw her? Is he keeping something from you? It is to Deacon's credit that the day he learned that she was responsible for the victims he found in an alley, he began cutting those ties.
Considering that he killed Dr. John "Finn" Finnegan and shot Steffy Forrester Finnegan at the end of the previous episode, there is no way that he would protect the She-Devil. Honestly, he's still traumatized by all of that and needs a lot of time and space to recover from it.
As Sheila is being protected, the man actually in charge of arresting Sheila is being questioned by the police down at the police station.
If Ridge gets tough as he has been doing, will Mike Guthrie be able to handle it? Sheila is on the loose every day and Ridge has been refusing to put up with it, putting the family in danger every day. The less he knows about what is going on inside Sheila's hiding place, the worse things will get for her.
