On the second season of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, there was a conflict between the two the dispute started when Medley who hosted the cast of this season at her Berkshires house, Blue Stone Manor, referred to Zarin as "thirsty" for the limelight. Additionally, Zarin used the occasion to "put the record straight," stating that she is "hungry" rather than "thirsty."

I have a strong desire for success, am ambitious, and am motivated. In my opinion, calling someone thirsty is a derogatory term, Zarin said. She continued, that it implies that they are envious of them and that they have the same desires. Therefore, I believe that when someone accuses someone of being thirsty, they are actually acting that way themselves, she stated.

In March, Bravo made the new series announcement but casting for it has not yet been announced. Zarin, Bethenny Frankel, Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, and other RHONY favorites may return to the program rain responded to ET's inquiry regarding potential Legacy cast members by saying, "Honestly, it doesn't matter what I think."
