Fans have criticized him online for treating his wife, Chantel Jimeno, poorly on live television. One of the most well-liked couples in the franchise is Pedro and Chantel.  The pair appeared to be in love for five years. When Chantel was 25 and Pedro was 24, they made their television debut on season four of 90 Day Fiancé in 2016. The pair appeared to be deeply in love, although they had several disagreements and relationship ups and downs.

Chantel wasn't popular with Pedro's mother or sister. Pedro never wavered in his support for her. The Family Chantel season 4 saw a dramatic shift in events, though. When Pedro started working in real estate, he said he loathed seeing Chantel.

Pedro has ignored the critical remarks on his Instagram about the divorce news since last month. It is likely the first time he has chosen to respond to them. Fans come in support of Chantel. Although most fans don't think Chantel was a particularly supportive wife to Pedro, they still feel sorry for her because she tried to maintain her marriage.
