'Maybe She's Pregnant,' says Whoopi Goldberg of Joy Behar's four-day absence

Introduction

Joy Behar is still absent from The View on Thursday morning due to an unidentified illness, while Sara Haines is recuperating at home from COVID-19. Whoopi Goldberg finally addressed Behar's four-day absence today, cracking a joke about how the co-hosts had been largely silent about it "Perhaps she is expecting.

I'm not sure." Whoopi began Thursday's broadcast by "setting the scene" about the panel lineup in response to questions from viewers concerning Behar's disappearance. Sara is still working with COVID.

Joy is recovering

Joy is recovering from the flu, not COVID, she added, before making a joke about the co-host, 79, maybe being pregnant. Behar and Haines were not present, so The View asked Chelsea Clinton to step in as a guest co-host. She sat across from Juju Chang of ABC News, who was there yesterday, as well as Alyssa Farah Griffin, a conservative pundit, and Sunny Hostin, a full-time co-host.

Not a Single Memorable Moment

There weren't many memorable moments in Thursday's program, despite the infusion of new views, but Clinton nonetheless made her presence felt. Biden is "not being inactive," she continued, and "has attempted numerous measures to get ahead of the inflation situation," but Congress has obstructed his attempts.

Clinton Stated

Clinton stated that the Biden administration "deserves credit for what they have been accomplishing."So we may argue that we believe they need to be doing more and a different set of things, but we shouldn't just sit here and pretend that they haven't given it any thought or taken any action.
