There has been a big announcement regarding the vacant spot on Jeopardy's permanent hosting staff. Variety has reported that Jeopardy! The show will likely continue to have two hosts, both Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings for the time being. Having two hosts is due to an expanding demographic audience, according to producers.“

To take this franchise forward, we're going to need multiple hosts to represent the entire audience, to represent the entire country,” executive producer Michael Davies told Variety in June.

In a recent announcement, it was announced that Bialik's Fox sitcom Call Me Kat would be renewed for a second season. As well as this, Bialik has recently been chosen to be the host of the new season of Celebrity Jeopardy!

The final two weeks of the current season of the show will be hosted by Ken Jennings. It's been a tough search for show-runners to replace Alex Trebek since he died. Initially, producers used a roster of celebrities as guest hosts.

For the 2020-21 season, they included a range of hosts such as Katie Couric and LeVar Burton. Mike Richards, a longtime executive producer, was thought to be the final host.

Two weeks after some controversial remarks he made were uncovered, he stepped down. It has been years since fans of the game show have heard anything about a decision regarding its future.

However, there have been many criticisms of Mayim Bialik's hosting recently, especially in the media. One contestant almost lost $4,000 due to a mistake by Bialik on a recent episode.

The contestant Andie begins her response with the incorrect response at the very beginning of her response. Despite this, she can correct herself before the time runs out.

However, Mayim cut her off midway through her sentence to declare her response to be incorrect. It was a lucky day for Andie that the judges reviewed the decision and reversed it.

In the end, she received a check for $4,000 from the court. The fans, however, did not hold back when responding to Bialik's mistake on Twitter. There was a wide range of response times today. One fan complained, "Two seconds, maybe seven, who knows.".

Whenever Mayim hesitates on an obvious correct answer, she jumps all over Andy before she can even finish speaking. I'm glad the judges made the right decision. I think it's time for the EP to act and get Ken back," another wrote.

"Mayim Bialik is just an all-around poor host on Jeopardy." What's the likelihood of her getting it wrong so many times?”

Jeopardy is back with Ken Jennings! On Monday, July 18th, he will serve as host. Season 38's final two weeks will be hosted by him. On July 29th, the season will come to an end. In September, new episodes will be released.
