Is Venom 2 going to be available to stream online?

Sony does not have an in-house streaming service, so it cannot split its streaming and cinema releases, instead only releasing in theatres. However, Venom: Let There Be Carnage will take several months to be available on streaming, as it is with most films. Netflix will likely be the ultimate destination for the Venom sequel, given that Sony and Netflix signed a big deal in April 2021.

Cinema releases can take up to two years to reach streaming services - there may be a bit of a wait. Venom: Let There Be Carnage may appear on another streaming service here in the UK as the Netflix-Sony deal was US-exclusive - and at any rate, the superhero sequel will be available on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and other streaming services to buy or rent.

'Venom 2' will not be available on Disney+

Sony has yet to make any announcements regarding releasing Venom: Let There Be Carnage on Disney+. While these two movies are Marvel movies, they do not fall under the Marvel Studios banner.

Even so, it is likely that Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage will eventually appear on Disney+. After a Netflix premiere, Sony and Disney signed a deal to bring Spider-Man and other Marvel properties to Disney+ starting in 2022. Sony has a good chance of adding the two Tom Hardy movies at some point, even though they are pre-2022 releases.
