Shameless - It is the longest-running original-scripted series on Showtime and ran from January 2011 to April 2021. Shameless has entertained millions of viewers for over a decade with 11 seasons and 134 episodes.

Despite being a very entertaining show, Netflix currently only offers Shameless in the US and a few other regions. A dysfunctional family, including a single father and his kids, is the subject of Shameless US, based on a UK series. The Gallagher family has seven members. Fiona Gallagher is a single mother who takes care of her siblings and the home of her drunken father, Frank Gallagher. Phillip, Ian, Debbie, Carl, and Liam are the young children of Frank Gallagher. In addition to stealing food and money to survive, the family must suffer greatly due to the drinking habit of their father. Several impressive actors are featured on the show, including William H. Season 1

The first season, Shameless, premiered on Showtime on January 9, 2011. There were 12 episodes and the season ended on March 27, 2011. Fiona falls in love with a player with a lot of money and a big secret; Ian embraces his sexuality; Frank goes missing and ends up in Toronto. His disability checks are threatened; Fiona falls in love with a player with wealth and a secret, and Ian embraces his homosexuality.

Frank Gallagher, the sole father of 6 children, lives in a dysfunctional family. The kids learn while he drunkenly spends his days how to look after themselves. During the first season, Fiona Gallagher and Steve's relationship primarily focuses on ups and downs. The couple met at a nightclub after Fiona's purse was stolen, and Steve attempted to get it back.

Kev and Veronica, Lip's neighbors, become foster parents due to fertility problems in the season. Frank and Sheila Jackson become a couple after meeting Sheila Jackson, the mother of Karen's girlfriend. Moreover, LipLip discovers that his closest brother, Ian, is gay. However, that could change if Ian started an affair with a local bad boy. As Monica's lesbian lover returns with her, she wants to bring Liam into her family.

Season 2

In January 2008, Shameless premiered on Showtime and completed its second season in April 2012 after 12 episodes.

Storyline: When Monica and Frank reunite with one another, Frank rekindles their destructive relationship; Fiona is shocked by Steve's surprise; Lip undergoes major changes; Karen and Sheila are at odds over Karen's new husband.

Overview

Summertime in Chicago means the Gallaghers are back and up to the same old tricks. The bar patron takes Liam as collateral when Frank panhandles to win sympathy until the patron takes Liam as collateral.

Frank is over his head by $10,000 because he lost a bet with a fellow patron, and Karen will not let him steal from Sheila again. In addition to continuing to see Karen, Lip is occupied with summer courses, managing a fighting ring, and selling pot and alcohol from an ice cream truck with Kev, who also attends Sex Addicts Anonymous meetings and is in a sex-free relationship with another group member.

In a local club, Fiona and Veronica are waitresses; Fiona seeks a new boyfriend to distract herself from Steve. However, Veronica asserts that her new boyfriend is a rebound and "even looks like Steve."

The marriage between Kash and Linda has deteriorated despite her pregnancy. Ian expresses an interest in attending West Point, and LipLip agrees to assist him in applying and earning his grades; he also anticipates Mickey's release from jail. Debbie and Carl operate a babysitting service in the house to earn extra income. Sheila is working to overcome her agoraphobia and trying to track down Eddie (who committed suicide last season).

Season 3

There were 12 episodes in Shameless' third season, which premiered on January 13, 2013. The season was concluded on April 7, 2013, following the completion of 12 episodes.

Storyline: Throughout the week, Jimmy struggles to maintain a healthy relationship with Fiona and his responsibilities to Estefania. Frank alienates his children and then attempts to win them back. Karen returns to Lip and Mandy and drives a wedge between them.

Overview

Despite Fiona's adjustment to Jimmy's new life at the Gallagher house, Jimmy has more pressing concerns after Estefania's father makes him an accomplice to murder, forcing him into an uneasy situation.

His father's secret relationship with Ian is more shocking, and he discovers he is gay. While Mandy secretly does Lip'sLip's college applications, Lip and Mandy deal with problems in their relationship. When Mickey returns from prison, he becomes jealous when Ian is with other men.

When Veronica's wife Cheryl arrives, Kev and Veronica have lots on their plate. However, they must take an alternative route to childbearing when they find out Veronica is infertile.

As Sheila and Jody adapt to new parenthood, Sheila becomes unsatisfied with their sexual lives and seeks Frank's unlikely assistance to convince Jody to be more adventurous. Fiona's heartbroken wish to get her children back is crushed when the Department of Family Services removes them with the help of an unlikely person.

Season 4

On April 6, 2014, Shameless' fourth season ended after 12 episodes. It premiered on Showtime on January 12, 2014.

Storyline: Lip struggles with the realities of college life while Ian forces Mickey to confront his sexuality after Fiona is sued following a disastrous party. Frank struggles with liver disease, while LipLip battles liver disease.

Overview

Since Fiona's got a steady job and Lip'sLip's in college, the Gallaghers seem like they have a shot at happiness. It is hard to move up when you are down and out.

Carl finds Frank an organ donor after he is forced to live out his last days if his liver fails. Lip gets arrested at a house party after trying cocaine and goes to college. He meets a young lady named Amanda at college who helps him out.

The bar is losing money, Kevin reveals that Veronica is pregnant with triplets, and Carol refuses to abort her baby; LipLip starts a relationship with Amanda.

Overview:

After finding out Ian was bipolar and Fiona was released from prison, Following the season 4 finale, season 5 begins in two to three months.

In addition to her new job at Patsy's Pies, where she has flirtatious encounters with Sean, Fiona begins a new relationship with a talented rock 'n' roll band member. When LipLip returns home for the summer from college, gentrification threatens his loyalty to the South Side as he straddles two worlds.

Despite Mickey and the Gallaghers' concerns about Ian's mental health, he remains in denial. Debbie suffers from adolescence, and Carl begins a new drug business. Frank struggles with sobriety after his liver transplant, while Sammi becomes increasingly involved in the lives of her half-brothers and sisters.

It was announced on January 31, 2019, that Shameless' tenth season would premiere on November 10, 2019, two days after season 9's ninth episode. Shameless is an American comedy-drama television series based on the British series of the same name by Paul Abbott. Emmy Rossum is not on the show anymore. Is Shameless going to get a 12th season?

According to Showtime, the popular show will end with its 11th season. Showtime has announced that there will be a six-episode limited series called Shameless Hall of Shame instead of season 12. This new and original episode contains a look back at what happened in previous seasons, which will air in season 11. The show ends with a retrospective look at each character's trajectory. It was a perfect way to tie the show together.
