Movie Synopsis

After Macaulay Culkin's character, Kevin McCallister, played by 8-year-old Kevin, causes his mother, Catherine O'Hara, to lose her cool the night before the family's trip to Paris, she sends him to the attic to sleep. After the McCallister family realizes they left Kevin behind when they went to the airport in error, he wakes up to find the house alone and believes that his wish to be an only child has been granted. However, his enthusiasm is dampened when he learns that the McCallister residence is going to be robbed by two con artists, played by Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern and that he is the only one who can protect the family home.

Why did Netflix remove Home Alone?

The Walt Disney Company made the announcement that it would be purchasing the majority of 21st Century Fox's assets on December 14, 2017.
