After the XFL launches in the spring of 2023, the eight markets in which teams will play were announced on Sunday. The announcement was made at an XFL town hall in Arlington, Texas by Dany Garcia and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

The host cities were Arlington, Houston, Orlando, Las Vegas, San Antonio, Seattle, St. Louis, and Washington. Arlington will be coached by Bob Stoops, Houston by Wade Phillips, Orlando by Terrell Buckley, Las Vegas by Rod Woodson, San Antonio by Hines Ward, Seattle by Jim Haslett, and St.

Louis by Anthony Becht, and Washington by Reggie Barlow. As we take another step towards kick-off in 2023, our league takes another step closer to achieving our vision by announcing where our teams will play," Garcia said in a news release.

Every league is powered by the passion of its fans. To represent the unique fabric of these communities, we will co-create these teams with our fans in each of these cities. As we prepare for kickoff in February, we welcome all football fans to join us."

"The first thing Dany, Gerry Cardinale, and I identified as one of the most important elements for the XFL to succeed was choosing iconic cities and venues for our teams to play in. "

We needed to make sure we were including the most important voices in the room, the fans when making these decisions so that each community could rally behind its chosen team, support, and lift these players and their families.

The league has been working on cool, new logos and innovative uniforms that reflect the league's dynamic and innovative vision. We look forward to sharing in the electrifying excitement of fans once they meet their new 'hometown team'.

I look forward to seeing you at kickoff." Gerry Cardinale, the founder, and managing partner of RedBird Capital Partners vowed to make the XFL "the best Spring League in the world."
