'Glee' star Ali Stroker is expecting her first child with husband David Perlow

On Saturday, Ali Stroker announced her pregnancy with her husband, David Perlow. I am so excited to announce that we are having a baby! A sonogram picture and a selfie of the Tony winner, 35, were captioned on her Instagram account.

"Our newest team member will be joining us in November! A dream come true!" she exclaimed. Ali Stroker wrote, "Best year ever!" after wishing her partner a happy first anniversary.

It has been a pleasure creating this life with you! We hit the jackpot! You are my everything part of Deaf West Theater's revival of "Spring Awakening", the couple reconnected in 2015.

A stellar transformation was made by Stroker for her role in “Oklahoma!” in 2004 when she became the first person in a wheelchair to win a Tony Award.

After suffering a spinal cord injury in an auto accident at age 2, the New Jersey native became paralyzed below the waist. For her performance in the musical Ado Annie, she won Best Featured Actress.

This award is for every kid that is watching tonight who has a disability, who has a limitation, who has a challenge, who has been waiting to see themselves represented in this arena - you are one of those children, she said in her acceptance speech for this award in 2019.

I have always felt like I belonged on stage," Stroker went on to tell viewers, "I just think I have always felt like I belonged there."

"Also, when I got into theater, I wanted to figure out the dance part." Stroker continued. She can also be seen on "Glee" as Betty Pillsbury in 2013, in addition to her Broadway career.“The Glee Project” cast Stroker as a guest star in its second season.
