In spite of the rocky ending, Lost will be regarded as one of the best shows ever. Nobody can deny how it has affected the TV industry, how the mystery shows narrate their story after Lost, or how millions of people came together to theorize or discuss. Like any other great show, its making is also interesting. So, let us find some of the interesting things about one of our favorite shows, Lost.
1. Lloyd Braun, the chairman of ABC Entertainment, has been fond of the name Lost since 2001, when there was a reality show on NBC with the same name.
2. Lloyd was on vacation in Hawaii in 2003, where he watched Cast Away on his own network and realized the plot would make an interesting show.

8. Originally, Abram wanted Michael Keaton for Jack's character.
9. Jack was meant to die in the middle of the pilot episode.
10. The then ABC president, Steve McPherson, was of the opinion that killing Jack would not let the viewers trust the show. As the plan hanged, Keaton was no longer part of the show.

12. Forest Whitaker was initially chosen as Sawyer but left to direct First Daughter.
13. Sawyer was original to be shown as an older city con artist from Buffalo. But, during auditions, N.Y. Holloway forgot his lines, and in frustration, he threw a chair and started working. 14. Yinjin Kim, in the beginning, read for Kate's role, as there was no Sun then, and there wasn't even a Lost script until then.
15. It was after the first impressions of  Kim that the writers created Sun's character.
16. Abrams saw Jorge Garcia in Curb Your Enthusiasm for the first time and was determined to cast Garcia.
17. Garcia read for Sawyer's role as Hurley wasn't even born yet.
18. considering Garcia, the writers gave birth to Hurley.
19. Even Dominic Monaghan read for Sawyer before he was chosen as Charlie.
20. Only Terry O'Quinn, who played FBI Director Kendall, didn't give any audition as he worked with Abrams on Alias.
