During the weekend, Jennifer Lynn Affleck, 52, married Ben Affleck and signed off their newsletter with the words "With love, Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck." It has been revealed that Lopez plans on taking on Affleck's last name in her marriage license, which was obtained by PEOPLE.

There is no "new name" listed for Party 1, but "Jennifer Affleck" appears under Party 2's "new name." The Clark County Clerk's Office marriage license record names Benjamin Geza Affleck as Party 1 and Jennifer Lopez as Party 2.

It had not yet been filed with the marriage registry as of Sunday afternoon, ten days after the ceremony. Upon the singer's release of the On The JLo newsletter, she mentioned that the night had been "the best night ever" and that their children had been "the best witnesses."

Their April 2022 engagement announcement was followed months later by the ceremony. In July 2002, Lopez and Affleck began dating. They got engaged by November and in September 2003, they decided to postpone the wedding just a few days before it was scheduled.

Ultimately, they canceled their engagement in January 2004. After a long separation last year, the singer/actress Marry Me rekindled her romance with the Argo actor/director.

The actor opened up to PEOPLE in February 2022 about what makes their connection different now than it was 18 years ago, saying, "We are older now, we're smarter, we're more experienced, we're at a different stage in our lives, we have children now, and we need to be very conscious of those things."

In addition to Emme and Max, she has three kids from her ex-husband Marc Anthony: Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10. Affleck has three children from his ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10.
