When Jesse Bray returned from Casa Amor, he was greeted with the unfortunate reality that Deb Chubb had recoupled with Kyle Fraser. But after everything they've been through, the Love Island USA contestant deserves another chance.

Jesse wasn't the perfect man when he first arrived at the villa. He coupled up with Deb on day one, but soon after, he recoupled with bombshell Valerie Bragg after making a connection with her.

The islander was caught in a lie when Valerie confronted him about how he'd been telling her and Deb the same story about his feelings for them. Valerie quickly broke things off, and Jesse went back to Deb.

The two remained together, but that doesn't mean Jesse was done with his bad behavior. During an island challenge, Jesse decided to make out with former contestant Sereniti Springs, leaving Deb as the only female contestant not to get a kiss from a male islander.

Deb was understandably embarrassed and upset but decided to give Jesse another chance to prove himself. The pair went on their first date together, where Jesse opened up to his partner about how growing up without a father influenced his struggles with vulnerability and affection.

The moment brought a lot of clarity for Deb, but when Jesse was away at Casa Amor, she made a strong connection with Kyle and recoupled with him, leaving Jesse single.

Why Deb Should Give Her Former Partner Another Chance

Despite the many rough patches Jesse and Deb have been through, there are several reasons why Deb should give her former partner another chance.

The two have overcome a lot since episode one, and things were finally moving in a better direction before Casa Amor. Had the two never split up into separate houses, they would have had more time to work on their relationship and would likely still be together. After their first date, it was clear Jesse wanted to become a better man for Deb.

He was finally vulnerable with her and was even visibly irritated when Deb was chosen to go on a date with bombshell Jared Hassim. When he found out there was no chemistry between the two, he was happy to get to remain with Deb because she's the one he's wanted since day one.

Is Deb Chubb Excited About Reunite With Kyle Fraser

His behavior during Casa Amor is a further reason for Deb to forget Kyle and go back to Jesse. While Deb was getting close to Kyle, Jesse spent his time staying far away from the new female bombshells and telling his fellow male Love Island USA contestants how much he missed her.

He spoke highly of his partner, stating all the things he loved about Deb and expressing how excited he was to reunite with her. When he returned to the villa and saw Deb with Kyle, he was hurt, but he didn't criticize Deb's decision or try to make her feel guilty.

Instead, he put her needs first and told her that all he wants is for her to be happy. His selfless reaction shows how much he's grown into the person Deb always wanted him to be.

Jesse may not have entered the villa as Mr. Perfect, but he's grown so much from his time on the show. It turns out that in Jesse's case, Casa Amor made the heart grow fonder, and hopefully, Deb can see how much he's changed.

Kyle may have been giving Deb all the attention she wanted from Jesse, but her former Love Island USA partner returned to the villa a new man and surely deserves the chance to show her how much better he is now. Deb should not write off Jesse and should consider reconnecting with him after how loyal he stayed during Casa Amor.
