Dirty Dancing is an American romantic drama film written by Eleanor Bergstein, produced by Linda Gottlieb, and directed by Emile Ardolino. Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey are starring in this drama.

The story tells about the Baby Houseman, a young woman who falls in love with dance instructor Jonny Castle at a vacation resort. The film was based on Bergstein's screenwriter's childhood. It has been 35 years since the movie was released. It became an instant classic and gave us the memorable line, 'Nobody puts baby in the corner.'

Jennifer Grey played the role of Frances 'Baby' Houseman. She had several TV guest appearances and started in many blockbusters like Red Dawn and Ferris Buller’s Day Off. Grey married an actor Clark Gregg and had one daughter named Stella. In 2021, they got divorced after 20 years of marriage. 
Kelly Bishop played a role as Baby’s mom Marjorie Houseman. Neal Jones played Johnny Castle's cousin Billy Kostecki and starred in other major films like G.I. Jane, The Devil's Advocate, and Sgt. Maj. John Sixta on the HBO miniseries Generation Kill. Jane Brucker played Baby's sister Lisa Houseman, and she wed photographer Raul Vega and has two daughters.

Patrick Swayze played Johnny Castle!

Patrick Swayze played the role of dancer Johnny Castle alongside Grey. Swayze remained a fixture on the big screen and starred in an unforgettable role as Sam Wheat in the movie Ghost opposite Demi Moore.

Actors died who starred in the movie: Dirty Dancing!

In the 1987 film, Max Cantor played waiter Robbie Gould. He also worked on a motion picture titled Fear, Anxiety & Depression. Max pursued as a journalist and left acting. He wrote for The Village Voice in New York City. On 31st October 1991, when he was 32, he died of a drug overdose.

Jerry Orbach played Baby's dad, Dr. Jake Houseman, who finds out his youngest daughter has been keeping the company of a dancer while on vacation. Over the years, he started in several TV shows and movies. On 28th December 2004, when he was 69, he died of prostate cancer.

Jack Weston, played as Max Kellerman, owned the fictional Kellerman's resort in the Catskill Mountains of New York. He starred on Broadway and received a Tony Award nomination for his role in Woody Allen’s play The Floating Light Bulb. On 3rd May, at 71, he died from lymphoma.

Honi, the actor, and professional tap dancer is a minor part of the film playing Tito Suarez. He had the character of appearing at the beginning and very end of the film. On 12th November 1992, when he was 81, he died of cancer.
