Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute says she doesn't miss filming

The former Vanderpump Rules cast member admits that she doesn't miss filming the show anymore two years after she was terminated. In her eight-year tenure on the series, Kristen was a key cast member.

Bravo has aired one more season since her departure and is now producing Vanderpump Rules Season 10. In June 2020, Kristen and Stassi Schroeder lost their jobs due to racially insensitive actions they took in their past. For similar reasons, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright were fired a few months later.

Kristen has remained close to nearly all her former co-stars, and the firing mended a rift in her friendship with Stassi and Katie Maloney. Kristen is now speaking about what it's like for friends to film the show without her.

Kristen didn't miss the film

 In an Instagram post on Monday, Scheana Shay posted a clip from a podcast interview with Kristen from her Schenanignas program. Kristen admitted she did not miss watching her friends and former Vanderpump Rules castmate's film without her.

 As surprising as it may seem, it's not as hard as I thought it would be, the He's Making You Crazy author said, as it feels like it's not the show I was on anymore. Despite her former co-star's comments, Scheana admitted the show was different. As she recalls, wincing, I said cool guys. She laughed in your face.

Divorce proceedings are underway for both

Kristen had just begun dating Alex Menache before being fired. They are both heading into divorce proceedings, and Katie had just ended a two-and-a-half-year relationship with Tom Schwartz. The hard part, Kristen told me, is that Katie and I live in the same complex now, and a filming notice was placed on my door.

 As far as the comments section of Scheananigans goes, Kristen and Scheana were unanimous in their opinion that the show had changed. The changes to Vanderpump Rules weren't for the better, according to those who missed it and the original cast. Kristen does not miss filming the show, but most commenters said they miss watching her on it.
