Megan Thee Stallion claims that fellow rapper Tory Lanez offered her $1 million for her silence shortly after he allegedly shot her foot and that she told police she stepped on glass because she was afraid police would shoot at her. Megan was in tears during her CBS Mornings interview when she recounted the incident in 2020. Lanez shot her following an argument after the parties at star Kylie Jenner's house in Los Angeles, she alleged. "I look down at my feet and I think, 'Oh my God,' because I'm bleeding heavily," Megan told Gayle King in the emotionally charged interview.

Meghan, 27, claims Lanez yelled 'b---h' and shot at her when she was about to leave the party when others weren't. Following the incident, Lanez apologized, she claims. "I'm so sorry," he said. Don't let anyone know. If you don't say anything, I'll give you $1 million," Megan said. "And I'm like, 'What are you talking about?'" Megan replied. Why are you giving me money at this time? Please help me. It's fine if you're sorry, just help me.'" Many officers and helicopters were dispatched to the scene, Megan recalled. Megan said, "I thought we were all going to die.

The George Floyd incident had just happened," she told King. The police are known for shooting first and asking questions later. Suddenly I realized I was bleeding, I had been shot, and they were about to kill me. It looked like something bad was going to happen.” She then continued, "I did not want them to kill me or any of us, so I just said, 'I walked on glass.' I was really just trying to protect all of us because I did not want them to kill me."After being taken to the hospital, the three-time Grammy winner says she still believed the glass story until the police left.

Megan claims that a doctor told her that she had bullet fragments embedded in both feet. Megan Pete, who is the artist's real name, says she had surgery to remove the bullets. The "Savage" artist expressed frustration in her interview on Monday when people doubted she was actually shot and said her injuries in turn were caused by stepping on glass. Megan said, "I'm the one who stepped on the glass.". Megan stated, "I lied to protect us all.". There are times when I wish I had not said that.". Daystar Peterson, who is Lanez's real name, has denied the allegations Megan made and pleaded not guilty to all charges, including assault with a semiautomatic firearm. The trial is scheduled to begin in September.
