According to reports, Rudy Guiliani, the former New York City mayor and Trump's former attorney, was the first contestant to be revealed.

According to reports, show judges Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke, who have been judges since the show's outset in 2019, walked off set in protest of Guiliani's presence as soon as he was disclosed.

After the expose, fellow judges Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg and Nicole Scherzinger allegedly stayed on stage and "bantered" with Giuliani.
According to Deadline, both Robin and Ken eventually returned to the stage, though it is unsure how long they were gone.

The Masked Singer is no stranger to political turmoil. The former Alaska governor and vice-presidential candidate, Sarah Palin first appeared on the show in Season 3, right when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out.
