Early Life

Jonathan Cheban was born in Moldova, USSR, on February 21, 1974. His father is a diamond dealer, and his mother works in real estate. He is their only child. When Cheban was a child, his family moved to the United States, and he grew up in Fort Lee, New Jersey. He finished high school at Fort Lee in 1991 and college at Hofstra in 1995. He studied communications for his degree.

Cheban began working at Peggy Siegal's New York City public relations agency soon after completing his undergraduate studies. Siegel was contacted by Benny Medina to assist with Sean Combs's 29th birthday celebration. Siegel turned down the offer, but Cheban took it, and the two of them went on to start their own public relations agency. He quit that company in 2001 to start CommandPR, which is responsible for the lavish parties held for superstars like Jennifer Lopez and Janet Jackson.

He initially appeared on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" when Kim stripped for Cheban to see if he was gay. "Kourtney and Kim Take New York," "Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami," and "Kourtney and The Hamptons" featured Cheban. "The Spin Crowd" was his 2010 reality show. Low ratings ended Cheban and his coworkers' series after one season. On Bravo's "Millionaire Matchmaker" seventh season in 2013, Cheban was single. "Celebrity Big Brother" briefly included him. Personal Life

It was in 2012 while filming "Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian Take Miami," that Jonathan Cheban began dating Anat Popovsky, a fashion stylist.

He was part of the "Late Show with David Letterman" research team. As far as he's concerned, eating gets him super psyched. In a 2017 interview, he stated: "I can really appreciate the flavor of food since my taste buds are more attuned than average. These strawberries are ten times more delicious to me than they are to you. In a fantastic city like Rome, I'll eat a ravioli and get such a rush from it that I literally fall off the chair. Genuine, all the way."

He and Kim Kardashian first met at a friend's birthday celebration, when they happened to be seated next to each other.

Cheban planned to construct a school for the children of the one percent named the International School of New York. The school was to be established at Trump Tower. After that failed, Cheban planned to teach the students how to choose the best caviar, leather for their private plane seats, and diamonds. He apparently wanted to give these life skills in conjunction with economic classes at a collegiate level. Cheban fails. Instead, he goes to a dermatologist in New York City who connects him to a machine that works out his abs. He ate a huge burger-topped pizza. Cheeseburger Pizza. Cheban was robbed with a gun in New Jersey in the summer of 2020. He was with his mother and a friend at the time in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. He says that someone stole his $250,000 designer watch while they were there. Cheban told DailyMail that he and his mother were attacked by two men with guns and that one of them had his gun pointed at his mother's head. They were lucky that no one was hurt or killed.

Jonathan Cheban is said to rent a fancy apartment in the Los Angeles neighborhood of West Hollywood.
