Jeff Bezos ,National Monument Going To Be Dismantled Due To Luxury Super Yacht

The record breaking luxury superyacht of the Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is going to dismantle the historic bridge Koningshavenbrug Bridge, which was confirmed by Rotterdam.

A Koningshaven Brug Bridge is going to be dismantled by the Dutch port city for accommodating room for the superyacht of Jeff Bezos, for this summer and the locals are not happy.

Agence France-Presse reported that the Rotterdam Dutch Port City had said that it will be temporarily demolishing the historic Koningshavenbrug Bridge, as the Bezos' 417 feet long yacht does not fit.

At a cost of 485 million, Bezos superyacht will be built in Alblasserdam, Netherlands by the Oceano shipyard. The superyacht will pass through the Dutch Port city.

According to Dutch News, the middle portion of the huge steel historic bridge will be removed for the deconstruction of the bridge to accommodate space for boats. Bezos going to pay for the bridge reconstruction work.

The city's mayor's office had told to AFP that the bridge dismantling project will create numerous jobs for the community and also the bridge will come back to its original form as the rebuilt work will be done quickly afterward.

A mayoral spokesman told AFP that that is the only route to the sea.

The historical bridge which is going to be dismantled and rebuilt for the Bezos Superyacht was built in 1878. It was once reconstructed during 1940 because of the bombed incident b Nazis at the time of the Second World War.

The record-breaking luxury superyacht of Bezos was built by the Dutch firm Oceanco.

This dismantling decision become controversial, as the historical steel bridge is having a long history. Also, this Koningshaven Brug bridge is a national monument. When this bridge was undergone a major renovation at the time of 2014 to 2017, the officials had told that there will not be further dismantled again.
