Gabrielle Union Applauds Daughter Kaavia James' 'Interpretive Dance' Moves as She Performs on Stage

Kaavia James, Gabrielle Union's kid, certainly understands how to get down to the beat of the music! 

In a cute video that was uploaded to Instagram on Tuesday, the 49-year-old star of Cheaper by the Dozen encouraged the little tot, who is just 3 years old, as she showed off her dancing talents. The caption for the video said, "There is never a bad moment to burst out into dance. My passion is doing interpretive dance. Keep yourselves amused, my good friends."

Choreographed Ciara's latest single

In the video clip that is choreographed to the tune of Ciara's latest single, "Jump," Kaavia can be seen bopping and bouncing around before making a splash in the pool. At the bottom of the screen, the words "about to grant you with my presence and abilities" can be seen.

The video then flips to the child doing a "one of a kind" dance inside, while Union, who shares Kaavia with husband Dwyane Wade, makes a cameo at the conclusion of the tape, standing in as a backup dancer while her daughter spins about. Union and Wade have Kaavia together.

Former NBA star

The former NBA star, now 40 years old, is the father of sons Zaire, 20, and Xavier, 8, from prior relationships in addition to his daughters Kaavia and Zaya, who are all 15 years old. His nephew, Dahveon Morris, who is now 20 years old, has him as his legal guardian.

During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Wade stated, "I've done a lot of amazing things in my life, or at least I thought I did." "And forget the titles and the other things I've done, it seems like wherever I go people are asking me about Kaavia. Then I'm thinking, 'She's fantastic, but let's speak about why I'm here,' and I respond in kind."

Kaavia’s impact on social media

In reference to the impact that his daughter has had on social media, he continued by saying, "It's this thing about Kaavia where people have started following her, and the remarks on her images, it sort of says everything we want to say, we just can't express it."
