Chris Hemsworth Was Sick of Himself Playing Thor

Chris Hemsworth had gotten sick by playing his previous version of Thor. As a result, Thor went in for a slight character change during his time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This decision was made by Chris Hemsworth and director Taika Waititi who changed the movie from its original version and adopted a newer version.Over the years, Chris Hemsworth added more variety to his film role, and he has been committed since his debut as the Marvel Superhero in 2011's Thor and took up the part for a decade. 

According to Straitstimes, Chris Hemsworth said, He brought out the immature, young, adolescent quality that he embodied, and so does Thor now, which he didn't in the earlier films as the old movie had a lot of rules and guidelines to stick with so it is made more familiar. Chris Hemsworth became sick of himself after playing Thor. After bonding with Chris Hemsworth, the filmmaker tweaked Thor enough for some of the actor's spirit to shine through the surface. Director Taika Waititi added a lighter sense of humor to his character and redesigned Thor.Taika Waititi had become good friends with Chris Hemsworth, and he is the kind of person he wanted to be on an adventure as he is someone he can trust to look after like a real-life hero. He just wanted to get into his personality and energy and make Thor more Chris.

This suggestion was given by Chris Hemsworth himself, which revealed in an interview with Build that he initially played Thor how he thought he should play leading characters. In the first couple of Thor films, Chris Hemsworth portrayed a more severe and stoic superhero with a Shakespearean element. But later, Chris Hemsworth felt trapped trying to be too relaxed as Thor.When Chris Hemsworth spoke with Taika Waititi that he was sick of himself being portrayed as Thor, and for that Taika Waititi responded yes, he was sick of him. So they dismantled the character, destroyed it, and made comfortable with making a fool of themselves. This led to the new Thor that fans have become familiar with.
