Art Description

The pop-meets-street art was described by Castle Fine Art as "each artwork is an intimate representation of their character in Johnny's eyes; a portrayal of how they have revealed themselves to him.

" From his close buddy Keith Richards, who provided the iconic Captain Jack Sparrow with his mannerisms, to Bob Dylan, whose artistic influence on the artist is evident in Johnny's vivid and enduring portrait of him.

Depp's statement

The set of four limited edition portraits is available for $15,040, with each portrait advertised online for $3,973. In a statement provided to the gallery, Depp said, "I've always used art to communicate my feelings and to reflect on those who matter most to me, like my family, friends, and people I admire. "My life is shown in my paintings, but I kept them private and kept my options limited. No one should ever set themselves limitations."

Fastest selling collections

The collection was eagerly anticipated by fans, and according to Castle Fine Art, "this world-first release proved to be our fastest-selling collection to date, selling out in just hours."

The sale happens a few weeks after the judge rejected his ex-wife Amber Heard's plea for a mistrial and said that the Virginia defamation trial judgment is still valid.
