It pours when it rains... especially in Amber Heard's case. Heard and Johnny Depp were still married and having problems with the Australian government prior to her defamation case against him. In 2015, Heard flew down under with the couple's Yorkshire Terriers, Boo and Pistol, to watch Depp film "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales."She did so without filing the dogs' import permit, so she risks a jail sentence of up to 10 years and a fine of up to $75,000, according to Marca. Barnaby Joyce, Australia's Deputy Prime Minister, added to the drama by stating, per Page Six, that Boo and Pistol must return home promptly to avoid euthanasia. Heard pled guilty in 2016 to the illegal importation charge but was only given a one-month "good behavior bond" at the time by a Queensland judge, according to BBC News.

The rest of the story is already known to you. Heard's "good behavior" agreement included appearing in an apology video with Depp to promote Australia's biosecurity laws. In the video, let's just say that the actors did not seem too enthusiastic about Australia's "treasure trove" of wildlife, calling the Australians a "warm and direct" people. Richard Gervais tweeted that it looked like a hostage video. Heard still has this unresolved case despite all her recent legal troubles. The actor is still facing some pretty serious allegations relating to this old case. She did so without filing the dogs' import permit, so she risks a jail sentence of up to 10 years and a fine of up to $75,000, according to Marca.
