In Sinking Spring, Michael Mando has been terminated, according to sources. Mando, the Better Call Saul alum slated to star in Ridley Scott's eight-episode series, clashed with a co-star, leading to his dismissal. In the role of Mando, Wagner Moura will reteam with Apple, who he previously starred in Shining Girls. Previously, Moura appeared in Narcos for Apple.

The producers attempted to smooth out the issues but ultimately let Mando go from Better Call Saul after a set incident. Producers decided to recast the role after trying to smooth things out.
