There's a lot of room for improvement on The Real Housewives of New Jersey

It was consistently entertaining to watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey over the years. Recent seasons have not impressed fans as much as previous ones.

Bravo launched The Real Housewives of New Jersey in 2009, and the world was instantly captivated by five New Jersey housewives' fabulously glamorous lives, but the show hasn't been as thrilling for the past few seasons.

Bravo's fourth installment of the Real Housewives franchise, featuring Teresa Giudice, Caroline Manzo, Dina Manzo, Danielle Staub, and Jacqueline Laurita, was well received by viewers.

Its scenes became some of the most entertaining and best of the franchise's installments from the very beginning. From Teresa's iconic table flip in season one to Danielle pulling Margaret's hair in season ten, the women delivered entertaining moments with each passing season.

The family drama took a turn for the worse when Teresa's brother Joe and sister-in-law Melissa joined the cast. There were punches thrown, harsh words hurled, and sibling rivalry took on a whole new meaning.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey drama between the siblings, as well as their journey to make amends, had audiences captivated. Teresa's emotional departure was followed by the action until she started serving her prison sentence.

Despite being one of the highest-rated and best-performing shows in the franchise, RHONJ's seasons are the shortest. Many fans wonder why. There have been ups and downs for the show, thanks to a metaphorical revolving door that ushers in new wives including controversial and popular RHONJ stars.

Due to the conclusion of season twelve this past May, audiences are wondering how long this show can last. As the show approaches its twelve-episode mark, producers seem to be grasping at straws.

With the women continuing to deliver their weekly dose of shadiness with a side of classiness, RHONJ is still somewhat entertaining. There have been only twelve to thirteen episodes in the past few seasons, not including reunion episodes. In addition, the drama reaches its climax just as the season ends.

Drama builds throughout each episode, but every episode fails to resolve anything at the end. While the producers save the RHOBH reunion for the end of the year, there is still much more to discuss.

Producers don't seem to know how to handle Jackie's eating disorder, as well as juicy, drama-filled arcs like Margaret and Teresa's confrontation in Nashville during season twelve.

This plotline is only touched on briefly before the seasons conclude, and so much is left unsaid. Many viewers wonder whether the show should be rebranded after certain housewives leave the show due to the lack of entertainment value they can provide.

Although The Real Housewives of New Jersey remains one of the best shows in the Real Housewives franchise, the episodes lack quality content.

The fans struggle to identify with wives such as Melissa and In addition to Teresa, I also love Jennifer Aydin and Dolores Catania who bring more to the table. But it might be time for the women to take a bit of a break, so the producers can regroup and plan for the future. It is hoped that those plans will include a facelift.
