WhatsApp has finally gotten one of the long-awaited confidentiality improvements that the app had been offered. Users may now hide their last seen and personal images from certain individuals, which may bring some relief to certain users.
Even though you have a lot of contacts in your device's address book, not everyone is on your relatives or friends list.
It may easily activate by following the instructions outlined below.
To reach the WhatsApp settings area, first, start the app and tap the three-dotted icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
Return to Settings > Account and click it once again.
At the top, you'll find a Privacy button, which you may click. All Last Seen and Profile Picture options may be found here.
From the list of four options, choose Last Seen. Unless otherwise specified, you should pick the third option, My Contacts. Following that, WhatsApp will provide a list of contacts.
Select all of the people you want to conceal your most recent sighting and profile photo. Then, at the bottom of the app, tap the green tickmark icon once again. You're now ready to go.
WhatsApp only displays contacts stored in your phone's address book, not unknown users. If you choose 'My Contacts' or 'My Contacts except,' the system will only show your last seen and Dp to individuals on your phone contacts, not to unknown contacts.
It's worth noting that the process is the same for the Profile Pic choice. In WhatsApp's Last Seen and Profile photo areas, you'll see a number indicating how many individuals you've removed.
