series is available in a square/rectangle display. Also, there are the Amazfit T-Rex series smartwatches explicitly designed for adventurers. Last month, they announced the Amazfit T-Rex 2 as the newest model of the series.
Both share a similar design, which is suggestive of their predecessor, the Amazfit Bip U Pro. Both are packed in a more prominent display covered with 2.5D glass and an oleophobic coating. Both have a plastic bottom cover, 20mm silicone quick-release straps, and a 5 ATM water-resistant rating.
Zepp has also managed to keep both watches as light-weight as possible, even with an increase in size. The Bip 3 weighs 33 grams and is available in Black, Blue, and Pink. While the Bip 3 Pro weighs 33.2 grams and is available in the same colors as BIP 3, instead of Blue, BIP 3 pro comes in Cream color.
Both the series are equipped with a heart rate sensor that can track your heart rate if wearing 24x7. There is also a sensor to monitor blood oxygen levels to track the user's stress levels and sleep quality. These devices can also track female menstrual cycles.
The Amazfit BIP 3 series smartwatches offer a 1.69-inch color display (i.e., 240 x 280 pixels). The screen is also equipped with 2.5D glass and an anti-fingerprint coating. The collection of the new models shows notifications of your calls, emails, messages from popular social media platforms, weather, and more. Note: The BIP 3 Pro has active GPS functionality onboard.
Both the series offer Bluetooth 5.0 LE and are compatible with Android 7.0 or higher devices and iOS. The company claims these wearables offer up to 14 days of battery life with regular usage and up to seven days with heavy use.
These smartwatches are 5ATM certified for water and dust resistance, so you can take them without stress while swimming.
The Amazfit BIP 3 starts at $59.99, roughly equal to Rs. 4,700 as per the Indian currency. As for the BIP 3, Pro will set the buyers by $69.99 (~Rs. 5,500). The Amazfit BIP 3 has already been listed on Amazon as a coming soon item, so we expect the series to launch more shortly, even in India.
