The new title is not directly related to the previous two; rather, they are set in alternate worlds or periods. The setup is a touch complicated, but it's definitely worth it is given how well-crafted these video games are, both contextually and technically. If this is your first visit to Aionios or your third, here's all we understand regarding Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
The existence of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was a revelation, but maybe even more intriguing was how soon we would be ready to enjoy it. Nintendo first claimed that the game would be released in September 2022, but in a surprising turn for the gaming market.
Nintendo posted on Twitter that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will be released two months sooner on July 29, 2022. Whatever the cause, fans are overjoyed that the game will be available sooner than planned.
Nintendo owns the whole Xenoblade franchise, as well as the creator of Monolith Soft. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will, like all previous ones in the series, be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch console. We would still not hold our breath waiting for this game to be transferred to another platform.
The Xenoblade Chronicles 3 release trailer is brief but filled with details to analyze and speculate about. As a voiceover starts over a furious conflict full of warriors wielding neon artillery and giant mechs rising overhead, we witness a black-haired girl blowing the flute.
The famous sword from the series is then shown as two characters fight in a duel while debating over allegiances. The tempo quickens as additional character disclosures, flute players, and voiceovers appear. According to the release trailer, these two 'have a destiny' and can reportedly communicate memories.
This is the part of the teaser in which we see the little, but it appears to be based on the same concept as the previous two games. From what we've seen, there will be vast open-world regions to discover, both natural and urban in nature.Â
We also see that numerous main characters are available, but it's unclear if we'll be able to switch between them on the fly or whether we'll be switching between them depending on the plot.
The most recent teaser also revealed that we may have up to seven members in our group at the same time.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will be a single-player experience, identical to the old installments. Until Nintendo releases a surprise bonus mode or minigame, there's basically no hope this game will have any sort of multiplayer element. This is a plotline, concentrated JRPG designed to be experienced by yourself and the game's superb characters.
Pre-orders for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 are available almost everywhere for the regular $60. There is also a Special Edition that is only accessible on the My Nintendo Store and is restricted to two copies per user. This version includes Steelbook casing, Hardcover artbook, and Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
