Two large eggs, 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs, 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, four boneless skinless chicken breast halves (6 ounces each), Pasta sauce, 1 cup, Shredded mozzarella cheese, 1 cup, Chopped fresh basil and hot cooked pasta are optional
The air fryer should be preheated to 375 degrees. Lightly beat eggs in a shallow bowl.
Bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and pepper should be combined in a shallow bowl. Place chicken in egg, then coat with crumb mixture.
In an air-fryer basket, arrange chicken in a single layer on a greased tray. Cook for 10-12 minutes until the thermometer reaches 165°, turning halfway through.
Chicken should be topped with sauce and cheese. Melt cheese for 3-4 minutes.
Sprinkle with chopped basil and additional Parmesan cheese, if desired, and serve with pasta.
