British actress Emily Blunt opened up about some unusual advice she got from her co-star Tom Cruise while they were working with each other on the edge of Tomorrow.
As per multiple news reports, the 39-year-old star is on an episode of the podcast SmartLess, which will be on December 12.
There, she told hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett how Cruise said she would 'stop being a pu**y' after she could not work in a heavy costume.
In Edge of Tomorrow, Emily Blunt and Tom Cruise act as warriors entangled in a time loop who must save the world and the human species from aliens.
They had to don hefty wear for their acts in the sci-fi film while entertaining complex action sequences.
While Tom Cruise is famous for performing his stunts, it was the latest experience for Emily Blunt.
As per The Times, Emily Blunt opened up that she got emotional while moving Edge of Tomorrow because the costumes were so heavy.
She opened up that Tom Cruise was seeing at her when she cried due to the heavy costumes.
Then, the Mission Impossible star asks Blunt to get it all together, which ultimately assists her with the shoot.
The Mary Poppins star also opened up that they had to use male stunt doubles ladies because the wearings were not so easy to carry.
Emily Blunt even got hurt while shooting the Edge of Tomorrow, as the dress hurt her collarbone and ribs and continues to be 'dodgy'; however, it's been eight years since the shoot.
However, she said that if the stars were ever oriented and all of them were free simultaneously, she would be on board with the idea.
