The writer of 'Moon Knight' explains where Marc Spector was during the Blip

By FactsWow Team

Marc Spector survived the Blip, according to Moon Knight writer Jeremy Slater. Furthermore, he provided the latest on Marc,s activities after Avengers: Infinity War.

There is no mention of Blip in Disney+,s show, but it could feature MCU elements later.

The film Moon Knight never made any connections to Marvel Cinematic Universe, but fans have now gained a deeper understanding of what happened to Marc Spector (Oscar Issac) after Avengers: Infinity War.

Lead writer Jeremy Slater confirmed that Marc survived Thanos, snap, and Slater also shared what he was doing afterward. It turns out that Marc had many similarities with Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner).

However, despite being in the MCU, Moon Knight makes few references to other parts of the series. One eagle-eyed fan had noticed that Marc Spector continued to work after the Blip.

As BGR reveals, Marc,s passport dates from December 14, 2018, which means he got it after Thanos snapped his fingers. In the second episode of the Disney+ series, there,s a shot of Marc with his passport.

That detail was sufficient proof Marc did not vanish after the events of Avengers: Infinity War. In fact, Moon Knight,s lead author confirmed Marc had an active time between Infinity War and Endgame.

While viewers already figured out Marc Spector survived the Blip, author and executive producer Jeremy Slater confirmed it during a telephone conversation with The Direct.

Between Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, Slater also spoke about Marc,s situation. Marc had not yet lost control of his body, so he and Steven weren,t living separate lives. That only happened recently. Marc was immersed in his career as a mercenary before that:

“That,s the last two years, and the three years before that were likely Marc,s. There was probably the same amount of work Hawkeye had to do as Ronin because the criminal underworld was in full swing during the Blip time, as I presume Moon Knight was keeping quite busy..”

Slater points out that Marc took out lots of threats that never became public. Like Daredevil, who now appears in the MCU, Marc would have kept his business the low-key.

Considering this, it makes sense why Marc didn,t make the Avengers, radar. However, now that his origin story has been told, it seems likely that he,ll appear in future Marvel films.
