Our attention was mainly focused on the late Alex Trebek and his Jeopardy contestants when he ran the game show before his tragic death in 2020. Together, they contributed to the success of the beloved show.

It was a disappointing start for Jeopardy's 38th season. The show's cast and executive producers came to the forefront after the departure of former executive producer and host Mike Richards.

After Ken Jennings, the show's new legend and all-time champion were hit with a subtle 'on-air' diss, Jeopardy fans are calling the show out.

The 38th season of Jeopardy concluded last month. The announcer on the long-running game show introduced Jennings differently from Mayim Bialik, which was noticed before that.

Ken Jennings has hosted previous episodes of Jeopardy with announcer Johnny Gilbert calling him the “host Jeopardy! ”

When Mayim Bialik walked onto the stage, the announcer introduced her as the host of Jeopardy! at the same time as the Big Bang Theory alum introduced her as the host of Big Bang Theory.

Many fans took to social media to express their displeasure. The producers of Inside Jeopardy went behind the scenes of the apparent diss on an episode of the show's podcast.

Davies explained how the scripts differed this season because we had a deal with Mayim Bialik to host the primetime shows, and Ken was a guest host.

Both Davies and Foss have revealed they will make the same announcement when season 39 breaths of air. After that, Foss stated in his conclusion, “Johnny Gilbert will announce in the same manner”–as “host.”

Our first week of August is already halfway done, so we won't have to wait long. Jeopardy premieres its next season Monday, September 12th after airing its final episode of season 38 on July 29th. The countdown has begun!

Thank You!
