Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited the 2022 Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple of Hope Gala in New York On December 6.
While the duo were guests to receive an award for their benevolence, the Duke of Sussex laughed. They were just on a night far from their kids.
He thought they were just here on date night,' Prince Harry told Kerry Kennedy on stage while sitting next to Megan Markle. 'So he found it weird that they are sharing the room with 1,500 people.'
Prince Harry, who shares son Archie Harrison, three years old, and daughter Lilibet Diana, 18 months old, with Meghan Markle, continued, 'But they don't get out much because their children are so young and small, so this is completely unexpected.
It's nice to share the amazing night with all of them. Thank them for coming.' Meghan Markle told her husband onstage, 'Thank him for bringing her on this very special date night.' Prince Harry replied, 'You're welcome.'
For their big night, Meghan Markle wore a white Louis Vuitton dress with an off-the-shoulder dress, reminiscent of her 2018 marriage dress. Prince Harry looks amazing with a sleek black suit and a white button shirt.
Onstage, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who walked down as senior royals in 2020 and star in the next Netflix docuseries, were admired with the 2022 Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Award.
In an October statement said the couple as admirers, the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights organization said that Harry and Meghan were awarded for their 'work at their Archewell Foundation.'
