Taking place at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, the Stellar Gospel Music Awards celebrated their 37th year of honoring excellence in Gospel music.

It was a night of honor for some of the industry's biggest stars, including Pastor Mike Jr. He won six Stellar Awards, including Artist of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Contemporary Male Artist of the Year, Contemporary Album of the Year, Urban/Inspirational Single or Performance of the Year, as well as Album of the Year. 1.

The seasoned musician and pastor, who received a trophy for Male Artist of the Year during the ceremony, departed from his original speech and gave a heartfelt speech instead.

When they were showing the videos, I had a moment where my life flashed before my eyes: I am sitting in a room with so many people who are important to me.

When I was sitting in the middle of the college campus and almost had an anxiety attack, I listened to 'Something About the Name Jesus.' And I was reminded of this story with my son.

He learned how to catch lobster from a fisherman on a boat. Immediately after grabbing the lobster, he tagged it and threw it back before I could think he was going to kill it.

He didn't kill that lobster, so I asked why he didn't. According to him, a pregnant lobster is tagged whenever it is caught. 'Because I checked and it was pregnant.'

As I thought about everyone in this room who had been through some stuff and had survived some stuff, I became frustrated because I felt like I was being tagged every time I turned around. It is my pleasure to share an announcement with you. Your pregnancy is the reason.

No matter who I preach to tonight, I am grateful God didn't let me die. I am sending you this message to prepare you because God is about to let you give birth to what eyes haven't seen and ears haven't heard. Don't keep it a secret. “It's gonna be big! ”

A Stellar Award-winning artist Jekalyn Carr and stand-up comedian Kierra Sheard hosted the annual celebration.

Thank You!
