Charlotte is having a great time at the pool! A swimming meet at the 2022 Commonwealth Games was attended by Kate Middleton and Prince William's 7-year-old daughter, as well as Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and their children.

It was obvious Princess Charlotte enjoyed the day as well - the royal laughed among the spectators while mom Kate, 40, provided her with expert guidance on the various events. Her dad even gave her a thumbs up at one point!

Charlotte is attending her first royal event on her own alongside her parents. In addition to her older brother Prince George, 9, and younger brother Prince Louis, 4, she usually travels with her parents.

In the past, George and his parents have attended a few solo events together. It was at Wimbledon last month where he joined the team.

Charlotte has cheered on two big sporting events in the last few days. In advance of her country's Women's Euro 2022 final against Germany, Queen Elizabeth's great-granddaughter joined father William, 40, to offer the England Women's Soccer Team a special message of good luck.

Aston Villa, Prince William's favorite team, has hosted matches featuring Princess Charlotte, Prince William's 'budding star' in soccer.

In addition to enjoying the races, the Cambridges met up-and-coming athletes and their support staff who have been inspired to strive to one day join the Games' current competitors.

During an interactive workshop, William and Kate learned about healthy sleep practices and nutrition advice provided to athletes.

Young athletes from Team England Futures, which is also supported by Commonwealth Games England, were backed by SportsAid, for which Kate has been a patron for much of her public life.

To help better prepare athletes to deliver medal-winning performances, and also to show support staff what challenges they may face in multisport competitions, athletes have experienced the workings of the Games from behind the scenes.

Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, who arrived in the prince's vintage Aston Martin last Thursday, started this week's Commonwealth Games, which Edward and Sophie attended throughout the week.

Charles read a special message from his mother Queen Elizabeth in the opening ceremony, which was included in a special baton, which had been passed across Commonwealth nations over the last nine months to mark the building up to the games across the Commonwealth.

As part of the Commonwealth family of nations, we have formed long-lasting relationships, and even developed some friendly rivalries for the 'Friendly Games' over the years,' wrote Queen Elizabeth. 'Also, they reinforce our connection to one another everywhere,' she wrote.

Charlotte visited William and Kate after they enjoyed a sporting weekend together, including tennis, sailing, and diving. Kate took part in a sailing event in Plymouth, on the southwest coast of England, while William watched England win Euro 2022 in London at Wembley Stadium.

On the court or at sea, William and Kate are often pitted against each other in playful contests, which is a manifestation of their love for doing competitive sports together, and their relationship has a strong royal legacy.

Thank You!
