With ‘Avatar: The Way Of Water’ releasing on December 16, the movie is being compared with the VFX of Marvel’s Avengers.
James Cameron, director of the Avatar sequel during his recent interview called the VFX of Marvel’s Avengers ‘it’s not even close' to the movie Avatar.
Marvel has been breaking records when it comes to the use of technology for visual effects in its movies and James Cameron never fails to impress his audience with storytelling.
James Cameron in a recent interview was questioned about whether or not the recent Marvel movies had inspired him to improve his visual effects for which he spoke, “Obviously, the big comic book films have been driving the sheer volume of the industry.”
James Cameron then mentioned the rising need for VFX brings everybody together as it gives higher quality artists, more tools and plug-ins and code and it requires more talented people to write code.
James Cameron’s VFX team, the New Zealand effects company, was co-founded by Peter Jackson.
His company is constantly hiring to improve the quality and everything which is called WETA FX.
James added, “Industrial Light & Magic does great work, but when it comes to the kind of emotive facial stuff that we’re doing… Thanos? Come on. Give me a break. You saw [Avatar: The Way of Water]. It’s not even close. It’s what WETA did.”
