Ingraham: Everything we do is designed to empower voters

'The Ingraham Angle' host Laura Ingraham threw some shade at the liberal media's response to Rep. Liz Cheney's loss in the Wyoming GOP congressional primary, and how she and Democrats make one outrageous claim after another on 'The Ingraham Angle' show.

I just want to take a moment here to ask you to stop and think about what the elites and their media valets want you to believe.

They make one outlandish claim after another, like how an incumbent who lost her primary by 37 points was actually a winner because she got the most votes.

It is only natural to conclude that this claim is dead wrong, just as all of their other grandiose assertions have been.

The opposite is actually true, for the reason that we are the real defenders of democracy, and they are the real enemies of democracy.

As the Tea Party movement rose to prominence in 2009, the populist movement has been on the march ever since then. It has never happened to us that we have ever received support from either.

The media or big business, Hollywood or Silicon Valley, at any point in time. The permanent bureaucracy which staffs the federal government also opposes our proposals to a large extent.

The power of our party derives solely from the fact that we are able to persuade voters to support our ideas. As a result, it can be said that no movement relies more on democracy and fights harder for it than we do.

During the 2016 presidential election, it was the voters who nominated Donald Trump as the nominee, and it was the voters who defeated Liz Cheney last night as well. In other words, we trust the people, and everything we do is designed to give them more power than they have now.

It appears, however, that Cheney and her cheering section, the voters, consider them to be nothing more than useful idiots.

Thank You!
