On Saturday, Elon Musk reinstated Donald Trump's Twitter account after it was banned 22 months before.
A Twitter poll was conducted to reinstate the former president's account, and most users voted to restore his account.
Like Elon Musk, other celebrities have also been banned from Twitter, including Comedian Katy Griffin, Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson and the Christian news satire website Babylon Bee.
Donald Trump was banned as his supporters crowded the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, after the congress party confirmed Joe Biden's win.
Elon Musk posted a tweet, 'The people have spoken. Trump will be reinstated. Vox Populi, Vox Dei,' which means 'the voice of the people, the voice of God.
After Elon musk acquired Twitter, many top-notch companies stopped advertising on the platform.
The companies include General Mills, Eli Lilly, General Motors and Audi.
Trump started his own social media platform Truth Social since he was banned on Twitter.
He was banned not only on Twitter but also from Instagram, Facebook and even YouTube.
Based on Trump's previous statement, he will not reenter the platform after starting his own social media platform.
