On Wednesday, a fire at the Casino hotel raged for several hours where 50 people were trapped inside the Grand Diamond City hotel in Poipet on the Thailand border.

Shocking footage from the hotel was released where people are jumping to escape the flames from the fifth floor and plummeting to the ground below.

Several hours into the fire, which is believed to have started about midnight, other portions of the building were also spotted dangerously 'leaning.'

Patcharin Thaenthon, the group's leader, revealed that the fire's fury stopped them from accessing the scene and that a rescue squad was dispatched from Thailand across the border to assist in putting it out.

At 8.30 am local time, 53 individuals were reported to have been saved when the fire was still burning.

Unverified posts on social media claimed that the hotel and casino complex's fire had been raging 'uncontrolled' for about six hours. One video clip showed a sizable portion of the roof still ablaze.
