The singer's mother responded after her daughter shared screenshots of text messages she sent her mom, friend, and lawyer from a mental health facility in 2019.
“Britney, I have the ‘whole conversations’ as well!” Lynne, 67, captioned a screenshot of texts that Britney’s friend, Jansen Fitzgerald, posted to her Instagram Story Monday to show that she did respond to the pop star.
Your closest friends have betrayed you and I feel sorry for you! Please let me come to you! ”However, Lynne did not share her alleged responses to her daughter's desperate pleas.
Messages Britney, 40, sent Fitzgerald - to whom she said she 'never heard back from' - asked for help finding a new lawyer (her then-attorney was court-appointed) and said she was concerned about lithium, which she said was administered against her will under conservatorship.
Because Fitzgerald didn't 'know tons' about the medication, she had to research it, according to Fitzgerald's receipts.
I think you are at least within a safe range. In response to her friend's question about whether she thought giving blood for such a long time was “really healthy” and “ok,” Fitzgerald replied, 'It says they monitor blood levels so they can keep them within a certain range.'
Britney requested a phone number for a man named John Bell, but Fitzgerald says she had no luck finding it because the one person she knew who might have it - Mrs. Donna - responded with an automated “out of office message.”
In addition to the screenshot, Fitzgerald accompanied it with a text message that read, 'I did respond!' Some of my messages seem to have been erased.'
After being accused of not trying to help her longtime friend, Fitzgerald said her heart was 'a little broken'.
According to her, her friend Britney Spears and traveler talked daily when she was in her last facility' when she sent THOUSANDS of messages to the court investigator in 2019.
I don't know if any of my messages to her were deleted by outside sources, but I know the courts had them all since I was very concerned for her and thought they could help her case.'
As she continued, Fitzgerald claimed she and Lynne had even traveled to New Orleans to meet with an attorney to try and help her. According to the two, they had a feeling Britney's phone was being monitored, so they were cautious about what they wrote.
Fitzgerald contends that she no longer has her contact information, and the singer never contacted her again.
During Britney's conservatorship, Jamie Spears was previously accused of monitoring her texts and cellphone activity, but he claimed that his actions were done with the knowledge and consent of Britney, her court-appointed attorney, and/or the court.
