Although neither Giannina nor Blake went on the show looking for love, their undeniable similarities seem to have drawn them together.
The romance between Blake and Giannina has flourished over the past few months, despite being unexpected. We take a look at why the endearing reality TV couple has been able to maintain their relationship for seven months since they met on All-Star Shore.
There was a delightful surprise for everyone when Blake Horstmann and Giannina Gibelli fell in love. The unexpected meeting enhanced Blake's connection with Elite Daily, he explained in a recent interview.
I felt more genuine because I wasn't going down there like, 'I want to meet somebody, I want to get engaged, I want to get married,' like on The Bachelor, Bachelorette, and all that.''
It didn't dampen Giannina and Blake's incredible connection that they faced off against each other in a reality television competition. In an interview with Elite Daily, Horstmann revealed that sometimes his relationship with Giannina was beneficial.
“It was pretty competitive at times and cutthroat, so it was kinda nice to have somebody a partner if you will on a show like this that you can kind of trust and is loyal and things like that.”
Giannina and Blake are just smitten with each other. As soon as they met on All-Star Shore, they became practically inseparable.
Giannina recalled how quickly she warmed up to Horstmann to People. Upon meeting him, we were already next to each other, like Velcro,' she said. 'We were like sticky tape all the time.'
Interestingly, Giannina's fraught relationship with Damian Powers and Blake's devastating rejection on season 14 of The Bachelorette strengthened their bond.
Blake confessed to Elite Daily that they had a lot in common, such as where I was dumped at the proposal by Becca Kufrin or how her wedding [to Damian Powers] went, so we shared a lot in that regard.
The differences between Blake and Giannina are not going to undermine their relationship. Horstmann revealed to Elite Daily that Giannina's peculiarities contributed heavily to his attraction to her.
He added: 'We were also different in certain ways that I liked, and we could push each other on and challenge each other.' It was pretty early on, kind of in one of our first or second conversations, that I realized how much I liked her.
To prevent spoiling All-Star Shore storylines, Giannina and Blake have kept their relationship under wraps for several months. It may also have been motivated by a desire to keep their budding romance a secret from the public.
According to a recent interview with E! We decided to keep this relationship a secret, but we also didn't want to sacrifice it... We wanted to make sure that our relationship was strong before going public.' Blake Horstmann told News.
The meeting with Blake on All-Star Shore was a great experience for Giannina. According to People, Horstmann's amiable personality contributed to her love for him.'I genuinely wanted to get to know him and to be around his energy because he is such a genuine person.'
Blake Horstmann is smitten with Giannina. According to his interview with E! Horstmann recalled his first impression of his new girlfriend to News. Her realness and rawness made her seem refreshing to me. She wasn't concerned with what other people thought of her.
According to the former Bachelorette contestant, Giannina is extremely kind and will die for her family and friends. There is no doubt that she is incredibly loyal. I think people will see that as time goes on.'
