The Reasons Why Joe Rogan Refuses to Become a Republican

In response to the misconception that he's a Republican, Rogan has given a list of reasons why he's not supporting the party.

Joe Rogan, 54, had received widespread support from conservatives after he was accused of spreading COVID vaccine misinformation through his podcast, leading a host of musicians to remove their music from Spotify.

Despite this, the media personality insists that he is a 'bleeding heart liberal' in regards to several social issues on Saturday's Spotify podcast. During Rogan's interview with comedian Andrew Schulz, the conversation turned to statements made by several Republicans, including Senator Ted Cruz, who said legalizing gay marriage was 'clearly wrong.'

In addition to abortion rights, they are now targeting gay marriage as well, Rogan commented. There is nothing silly about gay marriage. It's marriage. It's marriage from people who are homosexual, and it's important to them, but it's not silly.'

According to Rogan, they want to affirm their love and relationship. It almost makes me feel as if they're trying to divide us in the best way possible now that they're going after it.

'The best way for them to keep pulling off all the bulls**t they're doing behind the scenes is to get us to fight over issues like gay marriage or abortion. Why are you taking away freedom?' Schultz agreed, saying: 'If marriage is an important cultural institution for America, then it can't be taken away from Americans.'

'It's so homophobic,' Rogan said. By opposing gay marriage, you are saying there is something wrong with being homosexual. In other words, you are opposing homosexuals.' Having discussed the legal benefits of marriage, the Fear Factor host expressed his distaste for being associated with the Republican Party.

Then people will say, 'Oh, you know, you're a secret conservative.' Like, f**k off. You don't have any idea what you're talking about,' he said. A Republican just because he believes in the Second Amendment, supports the military, and supports police doesn't make me a Republican.

He added: 'Like I was on welfare as a child. I think it's important. I think we should help each other. We should be one big community. I'm a bleeding heart liberal when it comes to a lot of s**t.'

Rogan revealed earlier this month that he has rejected offers from podcaster Lex Fridman to interview former President Donald Trump.

'Post-Trump, it's weird already,' said Rogan, who also criticizes Joe Biden. Likewise, the Trump era is going to record one of the weirdest periods of the country's history when it comes to division.

'He's such a polarizing figure that many people felt like they could abandon their ethics, morals, and principles to attack him and anybody who supports him because he poses an existential threat to democracy itself.'

Rogan added, 'By the way, I'm not a Trump supporter in any way, shape, or form.' His appearance on his show has been offered to Rogan more than once, and Rogan has refused. 'I do not want to help him. I am not interested in helping him.'
