Sofia Vergara's milestone birthday will be celebrated all weekend long by her family and friends. As she celebrated her 50th birthday on Sunday, July 10, Judge Simon Cowell shared photos of a picnic with her husband, Joe Manganiello.
A Roman Catholic family raised Sofia Vergara in Barranquilla, Colombia. She was born on July 10, 1972. In addition to her younger sister Sandra Vergara being an actress, she comes from a large family with five siblings and many cousins.
As she captioned another photo with her husband, she wrote, 'Bday love.' She also shared a video of a cake adorned with a sepia-toned image from her childhood and a video of all the flowers and gifts she received.
Pre-birthday brunch commenced Vergara's celebrations a day early. A slideshow of photos from the get-together was posted on Vergara's Instagram account on Saturday, July 9. The former 'Modern Family' star also shared a few stunning selfies.
First, we see her in a picture where she poses with her hand on her hip while wearing a pair of oversized black sunglasses while sporting a hand on her hip. Her eyes were caught by a wine glass whose label said, '50 and still fabulous,' which was on the side of the glass.
Another picture shows her sitting beside a dozen family members, some holding their babies. In the caption, Vergara expressed her delight in having lunch with her family before her birthday.
Following up, her Instagram account showed a picture of her preparing to eat two birthday cakes, one with regular candles and one with 50. Additionally, she included a selfie with her son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara and niece Claudia Vergara, both 30 years old.
More photos and videos from Vergara's rooftop brunch were shared on her Instagram story. In a tribute video on his Instagram page, her 30-year-old son posted images of him as a toddler with Vergara and black-and-white throwbacks.
A caption he wrote in Spanish expressed how much he loved his mom and wished their fifty years together would be even more beautiful and rewarding. One photo shows the couple dancing and laughing, while another shows them joking.
His own Facebook page was filled with great pictures of the couple, including one of Manganiello's favorite slideshows. As she captioned the photo, she replied, 'Luuuv you.'
He posted a few romantic snaps from their vacations together last year as a birthday tribute to the 'Magic Mike' actor. As he captioned the picture, he called her the love of his life.
Jesse Tyler Ferguson, a former member of 'Modern Family,' also posted a birthday wish for Vergara on Instagram this year. He would love to have been Vergara in an earlier life, adding, please let me be you again.
