According to court records acquired by TMZ, Pedro initially filed in May and claimed that the two had split up the previous month.
The case is still pending, but he claimed that their marriage was 'irretrievably ruined.'
On the same day, he also submitted an emergency motion, alleging Chantel had taken $257K out of their joint business account just five days before they split up.
She is accused of transferring the funds to a joint account owned by her and her sister.
Pedro says he attempted to settle the matter but was unable to, so he requested the judge to order her to move the funds to a joint account until they could be divided during the divorce.
The court would schedule a hearing for a later date to address the issue, the judge said in response to the emergency hearing request.
Regarding the divorce, Pedro wants to divide the marital assets fairly.
