An attorney for Kim Kardashian's ex-husband Kanye West says her relationship with her ex-husband Kanye West is better than expected after reports that she and Pete Davidson split after nine months of a whirlwind romance.
Kim's decision to allow their daughter to join TikTok sparked Kanye's online rants earlier this year.
KUWTK's attorney, Laura Wasser, spoke about the pair's relationship and understanding on Friday during a virtual court appearance at LA court.
A judge was told by their attorney that 'the parties are in communication and getting along in a hearing for settling unresolved divorce issues.
For those who are unaware, Kim filed for divorce in February of 2021 after almost 7 years of marriage.
It is still unclear why Kim and KUWTK split, but she did mention hardships in their relationship in the last season of their reality show.
Apparently, Kim and Pete split up because of distance, as ET reports, 'The distance has been hard and things had started to fizzle out.'
It was hard for them to have Pete away for so long. Despite the fact that she has a lot on her plate, Kim is doing well.
Although Kim is currently stationed in the US, Pete has been filming for his upcoming project in Australia since the comedian quit Saturday Night Live. Both parties have not confirmed the split rumors.
