Khloe Kardashian hasn't lost faith in Tristan Thompson, despite the betrayal

Khloé Kardashian revealed a secret to some of her closest friends in November 2021. Through surrogacy, she and her on-and-off boyfriend, NBA player Tristan Thompson, were having True's long-awaited little brother.

During the fall of that year, the embryo was implanted into a surrogate. However, by December 3, Kardashian had been hit with a bombshell: Thompson had secretly fathered another child with Maralee Nichols. Theo, the child, has now reached the age of eight months.

The news that the reality star's boyfriend had cheated on her another time, just as they were expecting their second child, was a painful one for the reality star to hide for months. She was blindsided by the news of surrogacy on July 13.

Khloé is very open about the fact that she is aware that her life is a public one, and that she has chosen it this way. However, it is difficult to have this all be so public.'

According to a source, Kardashian was originally going to announce her second child on Season 2 of 'The Kardashians' on Hulu, but that was before word of Tristan cheating broke out.

It became apparent to both parties that word was likely going to leak and that it would be impossible to keep things secret until the September premiere once they determined that they would be going through the pregnancy somewhat separately.

The baby has still not been born as of Friday evening, even though rumors to the contrary had been circulating, according to Kardashian sources.

Good American co-founder Joan Morrison has not yet publicly announced her upcoming pregnancy, but a representative said she is 'incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a wonderful blessing.'

Thompson and Kardashian were first spotted together in August 2016 while Thompson was playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers. She became pregnant with his child in September of the following year.

While Kardashian was being bombarded with rumors of Thompson's cheating, Thompson was caught on video making out with two women at a hookah lounge outside Washington, DC, when she was three months pregnant. Thompson was seen taking another woman back to his hotel in NYC just days before she was due to give birth.

Kardashian dismissed the allegations at the time. Despite the NBA star's presence, she gave birth to their daughter, True, in Cleveland in April 2018. After seeing Thompson kissing Kylie Jenner's former best friend, Jordyn Woods, in February 2019, she finally dumped Thompson.

However, they were seeing each other on and off when they decided to have another child in 2021, after spending time together during the Coronavirus pandemic in August 2020. Thompson finally admitted to Kardashian that he had fathered a son with Nichols via Instagram in January.

According to a source close to the family, Khloé always wanted True to have a baby brother. They were very excited for the future when they created the embryos together, and Khloé felt very much in love with Tristan.'

'Khloé still loves Tristan and is determined to redeem him. I wouldn't be surprised if they got back together again,' the industry insider said. Tristan's family does not shun him for this reason. They support Khloé, of course. It's always the Kardashians who stick together.'
