When the Strictly Come Dancing celebrity line-up in this year is confirmed, Kerry Katona said that she wishes her name was on the list because she thinks it's a great way to lose her weight. Unfortunately, her name was not in the list. So, Kerry Katona announced the rude statement that she was not impressed by the Strictly line up because she was not in it.

In 2004, Kerry Kastona was crowned queen of the jungle competing with fellow campers including Peter Andre and Katie Price. From 2007 to 2010, she starred in more than five reality shows on MTV UK about her life, rehab, and bipolar disorder. In 2011 she was a contestant on Dancing on Ice and then on Celebrity Big Brother. She also participated in Celebs Go Dating in 2019, Celebs on the Farm in 2021, and recently Celebrity Detox.

Kerry Katona also opened up about why she took part in reality shows. She explained that maybe it was her purpose. She told that she was very touched when a lady came up to her in a supermarket and explained how the lady's daughter had been going through addiction and divorce. She thought she would lose her kids, then they watched her show, and it saved her. Kerry Katona stated to the media that if her story which has been shown on national TV helps others overcome it, then that is what she was here to do.

As mentioned before, Kerry Katona has taken part in a host of reality TV shows over the years including Big Brother, I’m a Celeb, and Celebs Go Dating. But she was not satisfied. She spotted the one hugely popular show that she has not appeared on, Strictly Come Dancing. The 42-year-old Kerry Kastona has admitted she would like to have a shot at Strictly Come Dancing because it’s a great way to keep her body in shape.

The line-up contestants in this year were announced last week, including former Eastenders and Downton Abbey star Nigel Harman, Love Islander and documentary maker Zara McDermott, Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach, former Emmerdale star Adam Thomas and the late Jade Goody’s son Bobby Brazier.

Kerry Kastona was thought the reason why she was not chosen to the Strictly Come Dancing line-up. She explained that she thought her Only Fans account might have held her back when it comes to show producers picking talent. Kerry Kastona affirmed that she did not blame BBC for rejecting her in the line-up entered Iist of the Strictly Come Dancing because her Only Fans account, she has no qualms with the BBC and very much love them. She was just upset because she would really love to do Strictly. It’s the only reality show she has not done.
