But Spotify supported the seasoned colour commentator.

Rogan recently spoke with fellow stand-up comedian Paul Virzi in episode #1843 of The Joe Rogan Experience. The 54-year-old gave Spotify credit for supporting him during the episode.

The financial details of the agreement weren't disclosed, but according to The Wall Street Journal, Rogan would receive more than $100 million.

Rogan reportedly received $200 million for a three-and-a-half-year contract, it was later reported.

Joe Rogan's podcast has seen increased popularity after it switched to Spotify. The podcast continues to feature a number of well-known guests and enjoys popularity all over the world.
